The Ginther Group is the official sponsor of the 2026 Piedmont Opera Storytime program, a family-friendly community initiative bringing professional opera singers and story reading experiences to children throughout North Carolina’s Triad region. The program promotes youth literacy, arts education, and early exposure to the performing arts through engaging local events.
Families across the Triad will have an exciting opportunity to experience the joy of music and storytelling in 2026. The Ginther Group is proud to sponsor the Piedmont Opera Storytime series, helping bring interactive literacy and arts experiences directly into local communities. As a Triad real estate team passionate about supporting families beyond buying and selling homes, The Ginther Group believes strong communities begin with opportunities that inspire children to learn, imagine, and grow.
What’s It Like at a Piedmont Opera Storytime Event?

During a Piedmont Opera Storytime event, a professional singer from the Piedmont Opera reads a new children’s book to the audience. Partway through the story, or perhaps after, the singer showcases their powerful opera voice. Following the reading, the performer engages with the audience, and shares with them what it’s like to be a professional opera singer.
After the performance, children and their caregivers have the opportunity to meet the singer. Each child receives a sticker as a momento. To leave a lasting impact, Piedmont Opera donates the book from the reading to the host organization’s library.
Why Is The Ginther Group Backing the Piedmont Opera Storytime?
Supporting the arts and promoting local literacy aligns perfectly with the core values of The Ginther Group. By funding the Piedmont Opera Storytime program, The Ginther Group helps reduce barriers to access for underserved communities across the Triad.
This sponsorship means that young learners get the chance to experience some classic art forms early on. The Ginther Group recognizes that vibrant, culturally rich neighborhoods make the Triad a wonderful place to live and purchase a home. Sponsoring Piedmont Opera allows The Ginther Group to give back to the neighborhoods that the real estate team serves every day.
