The air is crisp & cool, the community is abuzz, and 2026 is already shaping up to be a fantastic year for the Twin City. Whatever your connection to this place, whether you’ve lived here for decades or are just starting your search for the perfect neighborhood, there’s a certain energy about the Triad as we bridge between winter and the first hints of Spring.
At The Ginther Group, we think that actually loving where you live means being more than just content with your four walls. It’s about festivals, local art scenes, Saturday night concerts that get stuck in your head, and Sunday morning strolls that make you feel alive. We’re not just committed to helping you buy or sell a house. We’re committed to helping you plant roots in a community that thrives on connection. To help you plan out your calendar, we’ve put together a guide to all the must-see events and activities happening right here in Winston-Salem throughout February and March 2026.
Love is in the Air: February 14th Celebrations

This year, Valentine’s Day falls on a Saturday, and the city is going to be packed with events all day long – from family-friendly history tours to those rowdy brewery bashes.
Fun Little Bit of Whimsy at Körner’s Folly
If you’re the type who loves a mix of history and fun, check out Körner’s Folly. On February 14th, from 10am to 3pm, they’re hosting the St. Valentine’s Family Celebration 2026. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill house tour. You get to explore the 22-room historic home of Jule Körner while on the hunt for clues in a Valentine-themed scavenger hunt. You’ll see special displays, including the very first Valentine Jule sent to his wife, Alice. And after the tour, you can head to the John & Bobbie Wolfe Visitors Center to create your own “tussie-mussie” bouquet, inspired by the way Victorians used flowers to say all sorts of things. They’ll even throw in some hot cacao and treats to keep you going.
Mardi Gras Meets Valentine’s at Wise Man Brewing
If you’re more of a party animal, Wise Man Brewing & Coffee Bar is hosting something really cool: Wise Man Mardi Gras: All Love, All Day. This event runs from 8am till nearly midnight, so you have all day to combine the romance of Valentine’s Day with the high energy of Mardi Gras. King Cake, special beer releases, and food trucks. The highlight of the evening is when the 8-piece band Ears to the Ground, take the stage from 6 to 10pm, bringing that bold New Orleans-style energy to Winston-Salem.
Classical Evening at R.J. Reynolds Auditorium
If your idea of a perfect Valentine’s Day is a little more high-brow, think sophistication and some symphony, then you will want to check out “Be Mine: A Valentine’s Playlist” at the R.J. Reynolds Auditorium. This concert is on from 5 to 6pm, making it the perfect pre-dinner activity. Featuring cherished classical favorites that are designed to set a romantic tone for your evening on the town.
